I was thinking this is an area where there are no clear cut rules . For instance - is there a protocol for love? Are guys supposed to 'say it" first ? or who said it first in your relationships, past and current ? (guys and husbands ,some help here, please?)
Or after a certain age is simply putting all your cards on the table the best policy ? And then see where it leads? Or are there other rules no one talks about? Or does it depend on your generation ?
I am all for speaking up. I don't think I'd put it out there on date #2 but once I considered it a realtionship, I wouldn't be afraid to say it. I believe it's flattering when someone says that to you. I don't see it as pressure,or asking to take the relationship to another level. What are your thoughts, experiences?
