I am always the argumentative student :)

Yes passive resistance is peaceful by definition, but two problems.

1.) If you are a natural born target, ie. Israel, it won't matter if your country is set in Iceland, Greenland, or Kuwait, ppl will try to kill your Jewish state. As evidenced through the history of the Jewish people, they were terrorized no matter where they went, by many different people. There will never be a place for no terror for the Jews.

2.) There are times when one MUST fight, obviously. Ghandi also counciled the British to lay down their arms and passively accept the Nazi invasion. I'm sorry but in this case I believe the Brits did the right thing in combatting an evil opressor. The difference here is that a clear cut enemy was declared and fought along conventional lines.

Now my question for you: If we are always on the defensive (meaning we are fighting Imams and Mullahs who are hell bent to destroy America and Israel no matter what), where is the line between passisive resistance and accepted domination? What is it the terrorists REALLY want???
