Want money and power. What's the easiest means of control - fear and religion. Where's the money coming from - oil. These people are not fools, they are well educated, smart people. Heck, most of the western world educated them.

The average citizen views it differently. There are very few that will trade one dictator for another, hence the bid for elections.

But Iraq is still a mess. There's very little hydro and water. Jobs??? The day the USA showed up 60,000 people were put out of work because of the party and sect they belonged too. 25,000 Iraqi's have died and more die daily - there was massive car bombings yesterday in Bagdad. So, you have young people - most of them - that are influenced by the offers of money and power under the guise of religion.... and you have the ultimate cult in the making. And you have to haven an enemy... who better, the USA.

Now, if someone wants to do some real good in the world... Africa's going to disintigrate shortly. Millions are dying from AIDS and starvation... where's the rest of the world.
