Re states taking over private enterprise... it ain't like it's never happened before, ya know? When it comes to things like airports and seaports, I'm not sure I wouldn't rather the government control it rather than private enterprise ... assuming of course, that the government is actually looking out for the best interests of the country it's governing and not just for it's corporate friends and cronies. I get really nervous at the idea of my government selling me out to the highest bidder all to curry favor with their friends.
Not over pleased about the British running things either, but better them than a middle eastern company/country/entity.
