I don't think there's a lick of difference between gov and private employees... people are people. Hire cailber people and you get caliber performance regardless of whether its gov or priv. If it was 'properly' handled by gov it would probably be cheaper (properly means not subcontracting the contract to halliburtor at extorionist rates and saying that it was being done by 'our government')
Not a socialist, btw. Socially liberal, fiscal conservative. I would LOVE smaller government in many many areas, but with the neocons in power now that ain't gonna happen any time soon. Hell... I'd love to see a true Conservative government instead of the facist one we currently have in DC.
