but they get paid many times what our own military men and women are paid.

There is something inherently wrong with hiring 'mercs' (and lets face it, that's what this is) in place of using our military.

And they used them in NOLA with Katrina too. What hotel was it hired Blackwater(?) to get its guests out ... even ahead of people who were in serious danger, starving, thirsty, old... didn't matter... the mercs were sent in to retrive the paying customers. hooyah... just makes you so damned proud.

I don't believe companies like Blackwater have a place 'under the auspiscis of the US government'.

And Halliburton is another one who needs to get its nose out of the military budget trough.
