As usual I have more questions after reading your repsonse if you don't mind.
"they don't need to compete with us militarily--and I don't think they will" Are you basing this on need and China being pragmatic? Or is there more to this thought?
"with regard to space--that is were the globe will be controlled from and China is working hard." Do you see this being a non military control? Or do you see this control being obtained without China matching our defense expenditures?
