The problem with space is that--like Brenda says--it is hard to defend and one or two inexpensive strikes with emp will render just baout everything useless---so, the person who can ptotect against emp or has a bunch of new stuff ready to launch, has a nice advantage---but mostly, it is the advantage in information that is huge-economically and militarily
