I think the author should arrange to have the evil Captain gelded. Loosing the jewels always calms the male of any species and makes them much more reasonable to work with.

Evil Captain deserves to be gelded after the way he talked to Neil!!---Hey, I am a dedicated civilian reader. Evil should befall anyone who messes with a stories hero!
