So I am at the farm...

and we had a calf born on Thanksgiving that does not want to latch on...

And being the only person around here that knows about nursing first hand *I* got volunteered to go into this chute with a newborn calf and her big HUGE momma and try to pull this 150 pound newborn up to the cow and get her to nurse. No Luck. So then *I* am the one who has to massage the udder for let down because the calf wants nothing of it. And *I* am the one who is in the way of various excreting fluids while holding down said calf and trying to get milk into a bottle for the calf to drink.

So this has been my Thanksgiving weekend. Still no turkey. Lots of milk and nastiness. And I don't have my computer so I can't write.

Is that graphic enough ;) Why in the WORLD did I think I wanted to marry a farmer :)
