I get the recall. It says my timing belt may be defective and they will repair it for free. Thus I take it in before I end up on the side of the road (assuming I don't wreck) with 3 kids in 115 degree heat. If I know that a part has a great risk of being defective, then I fix it before it causes danger and costs megabucks to repair. Now, the recall does not guarantee it will break, just tells me it has a much greater risk than usual. Guess that explains why I only gambled $1 on my last trip to Vegas, baby.
