I think these recent hurricanes

Katrina more than any of the others has been a real wake up call of just how totally useless as tits on a boar the government is in a 'terror sized' emergency. FEMA is a joke (a bad one), National Security with their color codes don't even rise to the level of a joke any more. The difference between August 28th and now is that there are a whole lot of people who actually have an upclose and personal knowledge of the governments inability to help them.
