Even after 9/11. My son and I were flying from Seattle to Hartford. There were armed National Guards?? keeping watch while everyone lined up and waited to be herded through. Both of us were wearing hiker/combat/steel-toed boots which of course set off the beeper. I told my son to just do what he's told and keep quiet. I, on the other hand, saw one particularly hot looking Guard and while I was removing my boots I announced that if there is to be a strip search on me that HE would be the one to do it.
He flashed his pearly whites at me and my son rolled his eyes.
LOL
However, my fear is of dogs. Just hearing them bark makes my stomach churn.
