I'm looking forward to getting a 1911. I've really enjoyed it when I've used it at the range. I know what you mean about Glock. Do NOT like the feel of it (reminds me of a tinker toy gun truthfully).

The one that suprised me was the Baretta 92FS. I had wanted to get my hands on one of them forever. When I finally did, I just about cried. It sucks. It's beautiful to look at, but it just feels so 'wrong' in the hand. Never could figure out why.

I've been carrying for ages... with the new MP5 I'm going to finally suck it up and get all my paperwork in order.

I know what you mean. I used to be able to get the range at least once a week if not more. I'm lucky to get there once a month (more like ever 2-3 months) at this point. My coordination is probably in the can. I'm hoping to get back into it after I get my eyes operated on in the next couple of months. Over the years I've gone from 20/10 to 20/100 w/astigmatism in both eyes. Dr thinks he can get me back to 20/25 or there abouts. We've got Dr. Hubicky here in Huntsville now. He was the grand poobah of the Army's eye surgury so I figure he knows what he's doing.
