Have you looked back in time to see how immigration and citizenship has changed?

In the early 40's my grandparents escaped the Holocaust and came to America. One legally and one illegally. They HAD to take English classes and they HAD to pass the class and then take the test in ENGLISH before they could earn their citizenship. Does that happen today? No!

So are you saying that people like my grandparents who ran from certain death and then worked their asses off to earn their citizenship should have to serve 4 years in the military. Sorry but I am not buying that!

These sweeping generalizations really need to stop please! Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about but then get specific don't say ALL please!
