Temporary Archive: Suzanne Brockmann's Message Board

How do we make sure that the people who really do need to escape prosection get sanctuary? I just keep thinking about how desperate people must be to pay their life savings to cross the border...then end up drinking thier own urine and dying in "cattle" trucks to get here....those are the people I feel for...and still they come....they take the chance....how do we reconcile....be productive...and compassion for the people who are desperate....
