I may be wrong but , Scotch is whiskey with and "e" and generally considered

made in the UK. Whisky with a "y" is the American version and "Bourban" whisky is in this family. Jack Daniel's is a "Bourban Whisky". OR vice versa. I think I saw this on a southern BBQ show a while back . Also has to do with the distillation methods too I think ?
