I read it. It has it's pros and cons, but he wouldn't have made it that far in the Military if he was a total nut case. His methods worked, no matter how unorthodox they were. Somebody was supporting him and funding him with money, guns and soldiers.....if I'm not mistaken....it was OUR government. Say what you want. He filled a need we had at the time. There's a time to be nice and a time not to be nice...

I respect his service to the country and his ability to tell a story. I don't know that I'd want to follow him into battle, but I'd be glad to accept his protection.
