When I was a teenager we lived in Niagara near the border, so we watched a lot of US news. I mentioned once to Mom why ours wasn't as interesting nor as indepth. Too this day... her answer stands and is correct.
US foreign news is based on US policy. Ours has more world "topics" in it. More variety. Less time per topic.
How many of you new a Cat 4 storm hit China and Japan a couple of days after Katrina.....???
Everyone should read and watch other news from around the world... I do. Keeps me better informed and I think even more flexible in my views on what goes on in the world.
