how much do YOU think the common person really needs to know about the safety and security in this country? I think the common person needs to understand--again in real terms--how safe and secure he is---particularly as contrasted to previous generations. Not gonna climb all the way onto the soap box this late---but, who in our histroy has ever been more safe and secure than we are--?You have to take into account all aspects of your life--medical, social, economic etc---and all metrics--longevity, infant mortality, etc---No one has ever been safer--now--if everyone knew that instead of being ignorant--perhaps we would be less likily to trod all over our forebeares sacrifices.
I have been cleared to ridiculous, and I will tell you that the reason that a lot of information isn't released is because it doesn't mean anything--but it might, or could possibly--and to aire on the side of caution if you release it you would have to tell what it might mean--so instead of educating people so we could release info for interpretation in a meaningful way, it is easier just to slap a secret sticker on it,
