So how does an elected official stayed elected if he takes this strategy when we as the public do not have the mind set that we are willing to take casualties in the short run for the long term goal of making that organization ineffective? This is where the education comes in right?

So Do you hold yor head and groan when people suggest putting the National Guard on the borders to make them secure. You have a lot of educating to do.

When you say ignore the terrorist no matter what they do ...does that exclude hunting them down on a small scale say with SF force ? How long would you estimate that an organization would have to be ignored before it wouldn't be able to susstain itself?
