1. You are manipulating us! However, is this overt or subtle there is a difference. Someone standing in my way with a knife or a gun is different than someome trying to persuade me with words. I can ignore the words, if I disagree with you and think you are an idiot nothing will change my mind but irrefutable fact and that might not even do the trick. Or are we talking hostage situation. Again it changes the response. I'm not sure what I would do, but I would sure be looking for something to even the odds.

2. Personally I don't think we have to worry too much about the bomb at the airport. I think it far more likely to be at bus depot or marina.

3. My kids are pretty old, boys 24 (5'10" 200+lbs looks like he forgot to take off his shoulder pads) and 22 (6'9" 200+lbs)they would be protecting me as much as I would be protecting them, but don't get between me and my daughter.

4. I would hope education, but I haven't seen any signs of it yet. No one seems to have learned from history. Aide doesn't seem to help the warlords are there first preventing it from getting to the people it is aimed for. Teaching about sanitation, farming and wells for potable water might go farther.

5. The Israeli's used to have the safest airlines and perhaps still do, because they were (are) actively expecting Terrorists.

By the way it is possible to get past a man's natural defense with a Knee to the groin. I did it in a self defense class once with a Judo Instructor. Totally surprised him, good thing I pulled back or he would have been singing saprano.
