Knitting Needles

The things they dont let you have in an airport makes sense, but a movie screening?

I live in LA and used to go to alot of movie screenings as a test audience. I cant remember exactly what movie I was seeing, Ive seen alot of stinkers. BUT I knit.. Why? because I have friends who love Harry Potter so I decided to learn how to knit.
So waiting in Line, at Paramount Pictures mind you.. waiting to get onto the lot.. we get searched, makes sense, and the dork of a security guard Looks in my bag and says "You can't have those..." My reply. "They are knitting needles." His, "But they are steel and are a deadly weapons." my reply, "They are aluminium and so are my hands. you going to confiscate those?"

Needless to say.. They took themand held them for me until the movie was over... And the funny thing abut the whole thing.. They Completely missed my two inch box cutter. Yah.. Just call me the Stealth Knitter. I have learned more during my JKD training with just my hands.. Yeah.. knitting needles.. sheesh...
