1. Being manipulated - I probably would try to avoid you. If I thought you meant harm (not sure exactly what that could mean) I would talk to someone in authority - again, not sure who.
2. Bomb on plane or in queue - doesn't the difference depend on positioning? Is the plane flying above a city or above an unpopulated area? Somehow I think the plane - with all the collateral damage, would do more harm.
3. Your life or childs? When you're on a plane, they always say put on your own oxygen mask before you try to help. I think if the child was small, you'd have to save your own life to save theirs. If they were older - try to push them out of harms way.
4. Greater return - education.
5. Combatting terrorism: Israel for never forgetting (witness what they did after the Olympics) but aren't the countries that are truly successful ones we never think of, like Switzerland (someone else deserves credit for this idea) or New Zealand. Can't really say Canada because I think their borders are too porous.
I must say, it's easier to read everyone else's comments than do this. Janet
