We don't take ourselves seriously and view ourselves as peacekeepers not warriors. Not to mention our military budget has been chisled to ZERO cause of health care costs.
So most countries like to have us come spend time with them and they leave us alone.
Ah. you meant in the States (gotcha but I couldn't resist) probably the airport security themselves... had they been trained and had the appropriate tools. Private business can do the job as well as public... just don't tell that to the socialists. As far as they are concerned gov't must do everything.

Child's life or mine... both... cause without me.. who would care for them... they aren't "normal". But yes, I'd automatically move to protect them.
