The answer is no to knowing anyone - although I can guess at atleast 1 emotional one.
But I was wondering the same thing when I read Tom's answer and thought he didn't understand exactly the emotional abuse that goes with domestic violence. Honestly, it would be along the lines of having him captured in enemy territory, having to live there for years and being tortured and raped during that time. And then for him to decide - "well he doesn't really mean it" - what do they call that Stockholm syndrome??
Tragic is what it is and very hard for women to get out of.
