Are you saying that "honesty is the best policy", even if feelings are hurt? Because your post made me think about Mary's advice to ask men directly for answers to questions ... quite truthfully, it has probably taken me a good couple of decades to strap on those brass ones of yours Brenda and follow that advice. Why? Because if we ask someone a question - man or woman - hey, there's always the chance that we won't like the answer. And I think that "beatch" sign is hysterical too - thanks for sharing it (it would make a good 'toon).
