When you said China is a dictatorship you picked two examples, a) arms unstable regimes with dangerous weapons and b) monitors its citizens. Did you not expect that people would ask you to expand on your point -- give an example or two of why you believe that China's actions are markedly different from the actions of, say, the United States?
You may indeed be correct but a shopping list like that leaves you so vulnerable to these sorts of queries.
