The first thing is to let slip the fact that single malt scotch makes me very talkative---then let the interrogation begin!

Basic rule is that you hold out long enough to let the chain of command adjust for your capture and for the information that you have. Then you resist for show. Pretty big fallacy that an individual knows something that is particularly useful--especially after about 48 hours. If I was captured I am really hard pressed to think of anything that I know that would be particularly useful that isn't information readily available. The only critical information I have would be current operations and those would be changed immediately.

It is pretty easy to put someone in enough pain to make them willing to tell you what you want to hear--which is why torture is such a poor method of interrogation.
