American Red Cross: Bay Area Chapter -- is that going to work? The reason I posted this is that I'm really nervous that one gets told one thing, "Oh, yes, the money stays in the local area" but then that doesn't happen. Maybe I should drive over with my money in my hand and make sure the money stays here. I mean I donated to Katrina too - no problem - but I want my local chapter, living as I do in the land of earthquakes and mud slides and floods, to stay solvent.
