The Veterans Museum and Memorial Center at Balboa Park will open a permanent exhibit on the Navy's SEALs and underwater-demolition units today.
The display will describe the history of the SEALs and underwater-demolition teams. It will include artifacts from the 1940s to the present, said Amir Pishdad, a retired SEAL officer and one of the volunteers who organized the exhibit.
