I was raised on a farm and we always had a half acere garden. I love new peas and potatos and fresh corn on the cob. Mom always raised a pole bean called "Oregon Giants" and she would put them in a small pressure cooker with chopped up bacon... oh were they good.
Sadly Mother stopped cooking way before she passes away with Alhizmers.
Now my comfort food is cheesecake.....mmmmm.....
