I've picked up some novelty candy that has been a huge hit. It brings back memories from their childhood.
If you don't mind supporting a bad habit (hey I've been there) you can include cigarettes or chewing tobacco of their choice.
Small bottles of alcohol, like for a mini bar.
If you have a Big Lots or Odd Lots, Dollar General or Family Dollar usually have some neat stuff for low cost. Target has their $1 bins and WalMart has $1-5 DVD's.
