I ran to the bottle of Black Seal and just before I yanked the bottle stopper out .....

to take a guzzle o courage, gather my gear to protect and defend and insure undisturbed low pressure environment for OUR SEAL to write!

Then it hits me...
Tom is writing "The Story" not some sensational news headline grabbing piffle! Like the stories and lessons he shares with us I think his book is going to be The Book - real, funny, ironic, sexy, thought provoking, with barely able to handle moments of extreme nail biting for bringing us so close to the real circumstances of conflict lived and faced by those who are providing and protecting freedom & still teach lessons to the those who would put them in those circumstances by action or inaction; Tom's Story, Tom's Book will not lower the bar but make his lucky readers THINK!

I think GOS does not and need not fear DICK COUCH! Neither should we. I kind of appreciate his efforts - when Tom's Book is ready for comparison to books by others like Couch it will be a hands down no brainer - he needs something to be compared to. It will be obvious that the traditional bar was set at a lower point as it will be shown how high the bar can be with Tom's Book.

So the bottle is back with the gear and my blood pressure is dropping back to normal. Ah, now I have a little insight into what it takes to stay behind, to not fight in the traditional sense.

TOM - combat this CouchMan's ravings - give us something to read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh - we could also use a story for the BB, perhaps another Holiday season inspired story...the last one I remember was the The horribly deformed Chocolate Easter Bunny. Pahleese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
