But that's the point -- as a conservative Democrat and hawk who's been a dependable ally of the adminstration on military matters it was EXPECTED he would vote for the war. So when he comes out against it, it's news, not when he supports it. Same thing with Hillary -- she's painted as this big liberal so when she supported the war -- and continues to support it -- it's news. If she was like Kennedy who opposed it all along, as expected, it would just be, oh yeah, Hillary oppses the war. Yawn.
