...when he originally ran for Senator here in CT. I have always liked him, but was disappointed when he "had" to change his beliefs while running for VP. Those of us who know him, recognized how difficult it was for him to recite the party-line rhetoric during the campaign.
He's known for being very fair, and willing to work with both sides of the aisle (THERE'S a novel idea!)
