I mean have they ever? Or is the presence of a bomb obvious afterwards? Or might not someone be crazy enough to both say they have a bomb on them and indeed have one? Why, in today's climate, say you have a bomb when you don't? Isn't it an instant death sentence - from not only law enforcement or the military but perhaps from your fellow citizens (some of whom have the right to bear arms).
