I particularly like this bit:
a contract is supposed to "bind two parties in agreement" it IS NOT to dupe or deceive one of the parties

as this is what I'm particularly sensitive to noticing in the people that I see serving in the military today, like the "stop loss" policy of extending "contracts" to serve well beyond any anticipated commitment.

I don't know the facts of this woman's service. I don't know if she's black, white, or purple. I have a problem with people being used indiscriminantly and, after extensive training, thrown into high mortality jobs. I wish there weren't high mortality jobs, first and foremost.

I don't think I can really add anything substantive to Chris's statements, so I'll stop now.
