Didn't have a problem with your post although looking back at one of my posts I may have given that impression so for that I apologise. Maybe your National Guard could do with a name change to reflect it's deployment but as I recall it was deployed in Vietnam so there is a history of being deployed outside the US.
As for your employee she is actually very lucky she has you for a boss. There aren't many who would give this so much thought and go to so much trouble for her.
