Angela your posts always make me smile but I think you are correct.For once Stephen is not deployed and will be home (his home in Germany that is)at christmas (he isn't usually) but a work colleagues son is just about to go to Afghanistan she is very upset and worried.I would really like this reservist to have a talk with my son (he served in the TA before he joined the regular army)I don't think she would like the conversation. I spent the 18 yrs I was married barely seeing my husband until the final year of his service.Yes I was fed up being on my own but you know I chose to be a servicemans wife therefore I accepted the separations that went with it. She has made her bed now she lies in it.
