of books that are very good on the topic of leadership and success. 7 Habits and Who Moved My Cheese are both very good. I would definitely read up on the subject.

I think people can learn to lead; but it can be hard. You definitely have to know when to delagate and when to do what you are good at.

I think when starting a business, especially a small business, you need to make sure you know when you will hire someone to do the things you don't have expertise at. i.e. Make sure you have a good person to oversee the business part if that is not what you are good at. If you are doing this because you like to do the baking and coming up with new recipes, you need to keep doing that part and find good people to keep the rest under control. Now, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't oversee everything, but make sure you aren't moving away from what you want to do because you have to do all the other stuff.

I know I am rambling, but I will try to sum it all up. As your business grows, you will have to have more people. I would say hire people to do the things that you don't enjoy or would rather not do. Keep doing the part of it that made you want to do it in the first place. It is great to find a passion that will pay, but don't lose it by getting lost in the business as it grows.

I don't know if that made sense or not, but I wish you all the success in the world.....I LOVE your chocolate peanut butter cup cookies and they need to be on the permanent product list. ;)
