I know that... but how do I defend myself against an 8 yo... i tried so hard to not call this kid a liar... If it was another adult, which of course the mother is, I can stand my ground to protect my name. But I don't know how to stand against a child. And I don't know if the kid even told this all to her mom or if her mom is the type to build something from nothing and the child trying to please her mom goes along with it.
Right now I've made my phone calls and am waiting for the other shoe to drop... council calling me. Don't know what else to do at this point.
