That is how Frank got his dog....saved her..

from the dog pits in Erie....AND MAN DO I GET BOILING MAD EVERYTIME I SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!!!! UGH>>>>
Although, bless his heart...it took him a couple of years but she is very loving now...She LET me:) and I have no doubt that she LET me be alpha female...not that it didn't take me awhile...but with lots of praise if she did what I wanted her to do...she finally let me win...and it could have had something to do with the fact that the first couple of times I met her I would bring her a bone:)....She saw me as a source of food instead of a food source:)
We did get into scabbles about who was going to get most of the bed....but I would win:) heheh...The only thing I wondered about is if she thought I was hurting Frank (wait, I have to laugh about that one..hahahahah, oh that was good:)....okay where was I? Oh yeah, if she thought I was hurting Frank she probably would have tried to hurt me....but I have no doubt that if someone Other than Frank would have tried to hurt me they would have been chewed to bits.....She wasn't real good with strange dogs either but dogs she was "introduced" to she was fine with....
but you should have seen this poor baby...she had lost a dew claw/a canine/scars all over her face and they had cut her ears off....ARGH!!! I guess the first time Frank took her to the Vet the Vet was ready to turn him in...till Frank explained what was going on....They other bad thing is that every time we would have to leave her at Doggie Day Care...she would get so hyper she wouldn't be able to eat and she would lose to much weight...couldn't leave her there for more than a day or two at a time...she just refused to eat...and she climbed an 8 foot high fence trying to get out (which amazingly enough she did escape) the last time we left her at Doggie Camp... OH MAN, this really is a hot button for me isn't it???:) heheh okay I am done now
