there is not hygenie

on ops--other than drying and powdering your feet an crotch. Most true ops these days are less than a week or so. Obviously that was not true in the beginning of Iraq or Afghanistan. The purpose of hygiene in the field is to maintain health, not maintain hugability. Woman obviously have one or two other issues, but the women I have worked with are professionals and act as such. The men support them like they would anyone else. WHen I was in EOD I had the first female tech in my detachment--we were in extrememly close quarters frequently. My primary limpet response (underwater hull mine) was one of the guys. The female was in charge of setting up the explosives, which had to be done in the same space as the diver was changing--so the diver could be naked in the room that the female was setting up the explosives---never occurred to anyone to care--time saved meant the diver had a better chance of beating the running clock---Navy disagreed and I got in trouble and we had to change what we were doing--gotta love the brass
