Not sure if you read the article posted above or heard about this attack , but here's an excerpt:
"An unexploded rocket-propelled grenade remained on a U.S.-owned cruise ship after the vessel escaped an attack by pirates in the Indian Ocean over the weekend, Australia’s foreign minister said on Monday.

The Seabourn Spirit, with 151 passengers on board, was headed for the Seychelles where U.S. officials will disarm the grenade"

Does a grenade that doesn't explode when fired make it any less likely to explode ? What would be a reason why an ordnance doesn't explode?

Is a rocket-propelled grenade more dangerous than a hand thrown one or is it just distance?

What can you tell me about maritime laws with respect to an attack on a privately US owned ship? I am assuming they have the right to defend themselves? In the article they are suggesting that ships stay at least 150 miles away from Somalia's coast. They did say the US Navy, and NATO was patrolling the shipping lanes.

On another subject , you always talk about the techno stuff have you guys worked with,or worked in conjunction with parabolic mikes, or unmanned vehicle systems?
