I was basically LCDR Neil on that Op. Wehit the compound at about 2200, just before moon rise. We had been aniticipating about 6-9 people on the target. There were probably more than seveny--a lot of kids--the bad guys were using the local peasants as cover. We enter the compound so fast that they enemy couldn't get to there guns in time. We lost one squirter over the back wall and up a very steep hill/cliff. We took 15 men prisoner, but really only thought about 6 were AQ. Plus two morons that drove up to the compound (helo's airplanes zooming around) with $15000 cash equivalent. We destroyed a cache of weapons, recovered a bunh of intel and soe electronics. When the 47 came to extract us, it went into a hard flare (they had gotten shot up two nights earlier) and the down draft inflated a few of the Afghani's mandresses and they went blowing down the road---not funny but caused laughter. I think I posted this photo before. The dark spots are people. Me and my C2 element are with the blocking position at the top of the photo--actually still moving into place, and the assault force is at the upper left corner of the building. I think that photo will be in the book to start the battle chapter--
