I too am terrified to fly and it has nothing to do with terrorist, but everything to do with fear of crashing. I have flown before, but never enjoy it and have to take a tranqualizer (which doesn't help), maybe I should try the vodka. I tend to be a bit claustraphobic and of course being closed up in a plane makes that 100 times worse.

That said my little boy, who loved to fly is now terrified, because of fear of terrorists hijacking his plane and crashing it like on 9/11. We haven't gone anywhere where we needed to fly so it's not become a huge issue, but I'm sure the day will come when we want to go on a family trip, and Mike and I will need to help him with his fear...easy for Mike, he has no fear of flying terrorists or not, not so easy for me, because of my great fear of flying.
