Standard of Proof

If they ended up in the US court system, the standard of proof is very high. I think (because I have no access to the information on why they are there) that most would be let go as soon as they came before a judge, not even a trail.

By keeping them out of the US, classified as "enemy combatants", they can be held indefinately. We (as the US), don't have to prove the prisoner did anything wrong.
