My husband was offered a job in Tucson one time. We went there on May 1 and it was 105. I was sucking water like crazy and still damned near had a heat stroke.
The real estate agent who was showing us around kept saying "but it's a DRY heat" to which I told her... "so is the inside of my oven, but I wouldn't want to live there".
She had a very confused look on her face. I blame it on the heat.
