Brenda/qimh, heres something for you to speculate about

In approximately 1978 or so the Saudi Arabian government contracted with Arkansas State University for Saudi Arabian students (men only) to come to ASU to study to become custom officials in their country. The Saudi government even built The Saudi Arabian Student Center on ASU campus for their young men. They even helped to construct a mosque about a quarter mile from campus. The Saudi Arabian government poured a whole lot of money into this area, at a time when this regions economy was suffering from the very very high interst rates of the Carter era. There were a large number of Saudi students living in our area in the eighties and many still go to school here now. ASU is a very international university. But I have always wondered about how many of these young men actually went back to Saudi Arabia after completing their schooling and how many, like many other international students, just over stayed their visas and settled in other parts of the country. Just giving you all some food for speculation and thought.
